How to Create a Good Password

I found this article in a recent email; a beginners guide to password security - always handy to pass on to clients who insist upon using their surname as a password.

Homebrew Webstats

I have a website (quite clearly). In fact I have two - this one, and a more personal blog. These sites have visitors. This is the part that I find very interesting - the random selection of people who read my blog!

I have looked into a number of stats packages before from cheap/free “advert” based tracking through to corporate level tracking. I have found some amazing packages, and if there is money to be spent, then the world can be your NedStat empowered oyster. However, my sites are not funded, they are simply my words posted on the web, and done on a budget, so such a solution would not suit me.

Looking at trying F#

A few days ago I was round a friend’s house for a spot of DVD and dinner (roast duck in an orange sauce, very nice) and got exposed to a new language. Although I currently have no practical application, I am in the mood to learn something new - especially if it can be employed to help with some of the overly mathematical tasks I am currently dealing with at work.

Site Development: The Healthy Practice

Welcome to my Work Blog

This blog is here to feature work-related information and highlight my design & development (not always in that order).

Any freelance, corporate or personal work will be shown here - rather than on my personal blog: BrandBeast (which is NOT a reflection upon my work, but a comical and cartoonish view of my life).

I aim to include any code snippets, links or downloads that I feel may be worth sharing. By no means do I claim to be the worlds greatest “anything”, I love the fact that there is still always new things to learn - but if I can share anything that helps anyone else, all the better.

So, without further ado, me!
